Malaria Must Die So Millions Can Live global campaign

 

All 53 Commonwealth nations heard the call and taken the bold, political action we’ve been striving for: A commitment to halve malaria in the Commonwealth by 2023. Thanks to the  financial, political and scientific commitments totalling £2.9 billion ($4.1 billion) made at the Malaria Summit London 2018, we are well on the way to making sure this killer disease can be ended for good.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka in Toronto, Canada to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of Nelson Mandela Passing – December 2017

The Princess of Africa Foundation was invited by the President of Toronto Raptors and the Founder of Gaints of Africa Foundation, Masai Ujiri, to speak at The Giant of Africa event in Toronto, Canada.  The purpose of the event was to help Ujuri celebrate his hero Nelson Mandela and also commemorate the fourth anniversary of Mandela’s passing. Yvonne was a part of a panel of esteemed guest such as Dikembe Mutombo, talking about her own experience of Mandela.

The event started off with an intimate breakfast session in honor of the late South African President and Nobel Peace Prize winner  Nelson Mandela, followed by a visit to school camp site to engage learners about freedom in South African context.
